PostgreSQL Downloads

PostgreSQL is available for download as ready-to-use packages or installers forvarious platforms, as well as a source code archive if you want to build ityourself.

Packages and Installers
  1. Download if you are new to Oracle and want to try some of the examples presented in the Documentation Oracle Database 19c Client (19.3) for Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit) Download.
  2. Oracle Database 11g Release 2. Standard Edition, Standard Edition One, and Enterprise Edition. 7/13: Patch Set 11.2.0.4 for Linux and Solaris is now available on support.oracle.com.Note: it is a full installation (you do not need to download 11.2.0.1 first).
  3. Note: Before installing this download, you must first remove any previous versions of the Access Database Engine from your computer by using Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. To install this download: Download the file by clicking the Download button and saving the file to your hard disk.

Note that Debian focuses more on stability rather than newest features. Therefore packages will typically contain some older version, compared to the latest release.

Ubuntu 14.04.X, 15.04.X, 15.10.X and 16.04.X are supported for now (untilLaunchpad decides to discontinue building for any series).

Ubuntu Precise (12.04) and Utopic (14.10) are not supported:

  • Precise does not have a new enough Qt package in its repository by default,which is a dependency
  • Launchpad does not support Utopic any more, which has reached its End ofLife
